My friend, his wife, and newborn baby are delayed at ORD today, trying to fly home.

They have been at the airport for 4 hours, patiently trying to find out if they can go home.

They've had their fill of waiting, and the baby is really unhappy, so they are going to fly home tomorrow instead.

However, they checked in 2 pieces of luggage. The agent who rebooked them on the flight tomorrow told them that they CAN NOT get their luggage back tonight, even though their flight that the baggage was checked in today has NOT taken off yet.

My friend needs the luggage. It has all the baby stuff in it - diapers, change of clothes, formula.. etc etc...

I told my friend to NOT leave ORD until they get their luggage back.

After all, isn't it against TSA rules for a baggage to be transported without the owner(s) accompanying them on the same flight???
