I hope y'aw enjoy some fine barbecue with your Aussie (Kiwi ) visitors
The conference was incredible! Yes -- we had to endure a lot of Brian's really bad Houston jokes -- "I've never felt so welcomed anywhere else in the world! My name is on signs EVERYWHERE!!!"

We talked with one of the guys. They got in country last Wednesday, set up on Thursday, did the conference Friday night and all day Saturday, and then, left for Toronto by bus! (They do it all over again in Toronto next weekend.)

Brian dealt with the issue of the faked cancer illness of the pastor who wrote and sung "Healer" on the new "This Is Our God" CD/DVD by telling us on Saturday morning that the guy had faked his illness and that Hillsong had found about it only a week or so ago. (Interestingly, the CDs on sale at the conference must have been a second edition because "Healer" had been removed.) It was clear to Mrs Flies and me that the church still hadn't completely "processed" this betrayal of trust. Also, our guess is that many of the United musicians and singers had probably never experienced this type of betrayal either.

It's amazing how much positive impact that this church has made around the world.
