I'm seeing the usual seasonal drop down to 1 day-flight OGG-LAX, 1 OGG-SFO (the red-eyes don't work for me for business (or personal) travel). This summer was "kind of" nice, as UA had added extra day-flights to take up the slack from AQ & ATA. The extra choice of flights was nice, but they were booked up frequently (especially OGG-LAX).
What we are going back to is "more normal", except that the loss of AQ has made it harder to transfer OGG-HNL to grab an alternate flight to the west coast. I'm still waiting for the code-shares on HA.
Things are tight...
