I find this paragraph of your post offensive and I'm sure some of my fellow colleagues and contributors do too.

We are not here in an official capacity as our contracts don't allow us to be. We're here to try to help and assist and the majority of members on the BA Forum appreciate the help and guidance we offer them, even if it may not give them the answer they were looking for. I'm sorry you're not impressed with our attitude but, despite what you think, we do care what our customers think. However, it is unfair and childish to post the above just because you don't like the answers we've given.

Not all of us travel on ID00's either - some of us pay for our tickets in the same way you do. I am one of these and those who know me know just how much I invest in my travel on BA.

Perhaps security is not an issue to you when you're travelling but to everyone else it is. Thankfully all passengers I've had the pleasure of dealing with understand why this is so, sorry you don't.
