In all my dealings with US since the Sand Fleas infested the Sand Castle, ONE "Executive Liason" was amazing and did an AWESOME job. One. The rest, and I'm sure it's not "them," it's the Sand Fleas on the top floors, have been just completely unproductive.

See above. Not my experience. Maybe yours from inside the walls of the Sand Castle...not mine as a customer.

It matters not...and there's no use/need to debate....I've moved on. Frankly, it's just "morbid curiosity" that keeps me checking in here anyway...

CO and WN are lightyears ahead of US in darned near every facet of anything to do with customer service and aviation product save one....I still have a soft spot for the people on the front lines as they're great. PVD G/A's...the BEST. And yesterday in CLT....the G/A, AWESOME.

Lots of good people working for US out "in the field."
#1 - I've had vouchers on multiple occasions from VDBs primarily and have been able to use them without issue over the phone.
#2 - The Executive Liasion group is a great bunch. Yes, customer relations at the first level should resolve issues but when they don't the EL team is there. More people would be able to get their issues resolved if they just contact the EL team instead of ranting on here, going to the DOT, etc.
#3 - I've said it once and I'll say it again, I don't work for the airline and thus am not in the "sand castle".
#4 - CO and WN are better in many respects but there are areas in which they stink. CO coach cabin is no more comfortable than USs coach cabins. You may get a meal on CO in coach but you'd get the same quality of meal at a AMPM mini mart (or other gas station store). I'd rather pay and get something decent. US you get assigned seating, upgrades, etc., you don't get that on WN. Also CO and WN are no better than US in terms of handeling of irregular OPS. Plus WN doesn't have the same options in terms of interlining that US or CO has. Just a few examples of how CO and WN are not the be all, end all of domestic airlines.
