The other thing people can do in the meantime is write their elected representatives and complain about TSA incompetency and abuses of power. If enough of us complained, maybe some of the dead as**s on Capitol Hill would rein TSA in.
I've done so on several occasions,
Sens. Lautenberg and Menendez. I don't even get the courtesy of an acknowledgment of my correspondence. Rep. Ferguson, who is not running this year, does respond but basically it's the "anything to keep us 'safe'" response.
