The status issue is a good point. If the OP is not at least 1P, there is virtually no chance that row 15 will still be available when the OP checks in. In which case I would definitely recommend 16A then 17A, but I wouldn't bank on a roll aboard fitting in the side storage bins. I think the lid/door is too small. My brief case fits nicely and a backpack would likely fit, but the average roll aboard seem too thick.
