yes the equivalent of family and acquaintances, alas for US, not too many friends. When a company engenders this kind of hostility in a competitive marketplace it is not long for the living.

I did. I looked up and have flown US about 10K per year over the last four years since I dumped my HP number when HP merged and joined *A (so my UA number worked). No more, I book away from US.
As to why someone like me checks the forum... well to make me feel better about UA (which has its problems) and stay informed. And if only the US "fans" posted, not sure how many posts you would get out of about 6 posters. It would me a mighty quite forum
