Thanks for posting this. I too was wondering when UA phased out the DC-10's.

I'm not sure, but I THINK I flew on UA DC-10's SFO-HKG in April and May 1997. That is, I KNOW I flew UA SFO-HKG at that time, on widebody aircraft, and they MIGHT have been DC-10's. Or did UA use 747's for that route then?
