The 'book your free Heathrow express ticket' email should contain a link to
www.heathrowexpress.com which will open the Heathrow Express page with the promo code populated. (in fact if you hover over the link in your email you should see the promo code at the end).
You then proceed with a booking and it should show a price of £0. Finally you'll end up with an email ('order confirmation') containing your eTicket. Print this if you can but if not, all you need on the train is the reference code.
