But I have to say that the Singapore Airlines office in Singapore are much more helpful than the offshored Indian callcentre they offer to UK customers. Would recommend calling Singapore (very cheap if you use a dialling service) rather than dealing with UK for your aftersales service.
I have logged onto the website and BOTH my flights are showing, i.e. the 1st and 2nd of September, with both connecting flights MES-SIN confirmed, and the 2nd September SIN-LHR confirmed, but the onward flight (SIN-LHR) showing 'waitlisted'. It's an improvement on nothing at least.....
