Potsdamer Platz is in the middle of nowhere and the best place to meet bunches of American tourist who believe that this is the new centre of Berlin. Being a regular visitor to Berlin (every week) I come to this part twice a year (once for a show in the theatre and the second time for a very generic X-mas market).

The IC is 5-8 minutes walk to Wittenbergplatz, 10 minutes to Bahnhof Zoo and somehow central, but still in the green.

As a RA I avoid the one-bedroom suites but opt for the deluxe rooms. They have about the same size, the One-Bedrooms suites are devided and you feel a bit like being in small cells....
