HK hotels are general pretty expensive but good deals can be had.

First, do you want Kowloon or HK Island location?
What is your price range?

As previous poster suggested, there are a couple of threads on HK hotels and a quick search will get you to them. They range from mid price to high end hotels.

As far as security, most good hotels have safety box in the room, plus additional boxes usually by the front desk. HK hotels are very safe and I wouldn't worry too much....just exercise common sense.
