Maybe because Yemen isn't the most accessible place in the world, and that could be a plus. But it isn't the safest country you can visit either. Last summer spanish tourist got killed while touring continental Yemen. I'm not sure US citizens are most welcome in the country, and I believe Amans get their fair share of guest from the US. It really looks amazin' though.
