FWIW, I had this happen with a co-worker too (I canceleld, he went).... His outbound E+ stayed intact. On the return he was sent to E- (as far as I can tell there was no equipment change.... it just swept him out).

Do I need to actually cancel my return with UA or just let them figure it out when I don't show up?
