<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Perhaps there were some peculiar winds flying around SFO that necessitated this action? Or even worse...maybe there as a malfunction in the controlling surfaces? </font>
We took off from HKG as the typhoon was building from force 3 to 8, but SFO was fine and calm at all levels. Malfunction? Oh my! Well, I wanted to ask the Captain but I also wanted to run like crazy to the immigration line.
