Actually, the argument about the TSA stuff being different for flight crews has nothing to do with the fact that they're going to work. It has to do with the fact that flight crews have been through extensive background checks, while you probably haven't been. I don't point that out to argue that all TSA procedures make sense, but you are mistaken. Your sweeping declaration that "Life should NOT be any different for the FAS than it is for paying customers" is puzzling.
Also, if you think that FAs always know where they're going and around when they'll arrive, you don't know much about being a FA.
