I'd be surprised if there were any seats in CW or F available for Boris to occupy on a peak flight to Beijing like this one, even if BA was minded to ug**de him. And I see no reason why they should. In fact it would serve him right, the toad, if a ton of other people got there ahead of him. And imagine what would have happened if the gutter press got hold of a story like " I was downgraded to make way for King Boris"...

The whole sorry saga strikes me as cynical political media manipulation - Boris the man of the people? - do me a favour - and Boris should stop posturing and start doing something useful. I see no problem with taxpayers money being used to pay for C class for mayors - but if he expects C he should commit the money to it, like the rest of us...
