I'd be happy to see a COS bonus but don't really care much either way, and I suspect the ability to get into front cabin is a more compelling argument for most passengers (or perhaps the lack of change fees). Of course points are points.

When the TA mentioned this a few months ago, I did wonder if it might be a summer thing, with more J space expected to go empty anyway, and perhaps fewer passes being sold (and less importance to last-minute flexibility). I did notice the change in wording. Whatever the reason, I just hope it continues after Labour Day.
