I'm short on the facts so I'll go with rumour.

Canada Post is bluffing because passing on the higher cost of fuel through the price of stamps is not a politically smart decision.

Canada Post is hated almost as much as AC.

We've been down this road before and Canada Post (CP?) has always come crawling back.

Canada is a big country, who is going to deliver the mail?

And anyone remember lightweight airmail?
