Hey there. I have a question that has intrigued me for a while, and I am sure someone will be able to answer.

Some time around 2003 (approx.), I became Diamond. I therefore recived my card, i.e. OZ Diamond / *A Gold. It did not have an expiry date on it. Of course I just assumed that it was a mistake, that there would be an expiry to my Diamond status.

Since then I only credited very few flights to the OZ account. Still, I remain Diamond on the website to this day...

Does it mean that I am actually lifetime Diamond, which means lifetime *A Gold ?

I guess that would only be possible, if indeed Diamond was for life at that time. I am aware that now there is one level above Diamdond, i.e. Platinum, which is for life, and Diamond is not. But maybe Diamond was for life at that time ? Or how else to explain this non-expiry of my status ?

So, am I really lifetime Diamond / *A Gold ? Do I need to do anything to maintain it ? I guess I would have to at least have some activity every some time, I cannot just stop using the card for ten years and remain Diamond, right ?
