I actually left HKG on what may have been the last (BA) flight out before the Typhoon - BA28. Was never so glad to be on my way home, especially since i had been on standby from the night after, and got the last seat on the plane back to LHR !! ^

A slight annoyance though was waiting for over an hour at the gate at T5 - the jetbridge became unserviceable and it took that long to get a stairs to the plane - how incompetent is that ??!!!!

Anyway, home and happy since yesterday ...
