I flew the KOA-LAX all nighter last Sunday in Y and, lo and behold, no snack mix was loaded so it was beverages only (snack boxes got eliminated on Hawaii all nighters earlier this year).

It's the first time I recall being on a flight not catered with snack mix. Luckily I had eaten dinner, so was able to make it without further nourishment for 5 hours.

Is this common? I was in row 10, so it's not like they had a chance to run out.
