Yes - you can pre-book seats, but your best bet by far, once you have booked; is to ring Special Assistance on 0870 380 2004.

In my experience, they are brilliant. You will be able to discuss your Mum's specific needs and they will be able to arrange everything from check in, to leaving the airport both ends.
