select seats for disabled person on an Upper Class ticket?

Hi there, first ever post on this forum.

Parents are flying LHR-JFK and then SFO-LHR in May, I am used to flying BA where only Silver & Gold card holders can select seats when booking, but I think the UC seating looks far better value than the Club World seat, plus mother is disabled so CW seating will be a nightmare having to stand over people to go to the bathroom etc.

Tickets will be booked on the internet, hoping they can choose seats there - is this possible? Will be flying out on A340 and back on 747, so not sure if there are any specific seats for disabled people or any recommended seats?Many thanks
