I hope I don't sound like an unreasonable git her. The REAL issue is that for many years BA has allowed us to do this. It was very convenient for us, and it allowed us to get a lot of the airport hassle out of the way early in the day. With BA's baggage reputation we also don't want to risk checking in a bag only 45 mins before flight time.

So, why didn't they tell us they are changing in a non user friendly way? That is what really pisses me off (pardon the expression). I thought they would want to improve things, not make them worse than they already are.
