The ex-EU price would have increased by 25% just because of the rise in value of the EUR against the GBP. I wouldn't expect the relative price (ex-EU compared to ex-GB) to increase by more than that, though; maybe it's more a question of availability of the cheaper fare buckets at the time you checked? I told ITA not to look at availability, so it just came up with the cheapest fare possible. It looks similar going west or east, with ex-EU coming in at best £100-200 cheaper on a CW flight but often more expensive than travelling from london.
