Flight I want is QF-operated but JCDIZ is 0'd out. The QF flight is J9C9 but DI 0'd out.
I guess they have a general amount and might buy some extra seats if they see the demand is there.

I was on ZRH-CDG-HKG-MEL last year and on the date where I wanted to fly, they couldn't get a confirmation for the HKG-MEL leg on QF until a week before the flight, even though it wasn't 0'd out in either class (neither on QF nor on AF number).

The AF desk at ZRH already got me a seat on the QF flight and was ready to unvoluntarily reroute me from AF to QF on the same metal ;-)
