I just placed an award intenerary on hold for TPA - OTP next week (2 BE Skysavers). The only Skysaver that was available was for me to fly CO TPA - EWR then DL JFK - OTP. The Return is all DL metal.

How do I get from EWR - JFK? There is a 3 hour layover. I suppose thats enough time, but is there a train? Does DL provide some sort of shuttle service (doubtful)? Cab?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
A cab would probably be the quickest way....albeit the most expensive.

Three other alternatives include:

#1. Taking a Newark Liberty Airport Express bus from Newark airport to the Port Authority Bus terminal and switching there to the NY Airport Service bus to JFK.

#2. Taking NJ transit or Amtrak from the airport's rail station to Penn Station........transferring to a Long Island Rail Road train to Jamaica station.....where you switch to the JFK Air Train.

However, those 2 take quite a bit of time.........so, #3 is probably the best bet for you given the time limit....

#3. a shuttle van/bus from EWR to JFK for $27 one-way......as this direct option takes roughly 90 minutes or more.....depending on traffic.

Olympic Airporter EWR-JFK

IMO 3 hours is rather short time frame to connect from EWR to JFK.....which can easily shrink if your arrival flight into EWR is delayed.
