This definitely (and truthfully) worked for me a few months ago. I have old-style SWUs that expire in Aug. '03 and I called to upgrade a V-class SFO-LHR. The agent at first didn't believe that there were still those old certs in circulation, but she put the upgrade through anyway without asking for the profile on them. You should be able to do the same thing!
