I think it would make a great UA ad.

Years ago I saw an ad for Leica cameras about an photographer taking pictures out of a small plane who dropped his camera out of the door. When the plane landed he went looking for the camera and found it in a field, in full working order. As I recall they showed a picture of the camera and the add explained while they cant guarantee this will happen if you drop your camera out of a plane, it was a true story that spoke to the build quality of their cameras. They apparently felt this was a good thing to advertise. Perhaps you should trundle off and find some venue in which to tell Leica how to run their camera business. Im sure you could provide them with some salient advice on lense coatings or multi-element lense design that has up to now escaped them.
