Northwest is seeing large surges in their intra-Asia routes, so they are ferrying 757s over to replace tha A320s currently on those routes. In addition, some of their DC-10 fleet is being assigned there, as well.

While this would seem to imply that 747/777 aircraft would be the ones maintaining intra-Asia ops for UA, perhaps loads are such that a 767 (which now has 757 pilot costs) might be a better option.
