I agree more 747s will replace 777s over the Pacific, but why use the 763s for Intra-Asia flights?
Would this lower the utilization rate for both the 747s and 763s?
Routes such as NRT-ICN, NRT-BKK and NRT-SIN are usually more than 70% full on the 747/777s (pre & post SARS), and it is especially hard to get upgrades to C on these flights.
Wouldn't the 763s better suited as replacement for 762s on transcont routes?
