Yeah right. I was unaware that AA has invested in such devices when they're barely able to afford fuel or salary increases for their employees. He did draw a good laugh though.
I've also heard it before - on AA as well as other carriers (WN). We all know it's a ploy to get people to turn their electronics off quicker -- especially "that guy" that thinks his phone call is more important than pushing back on time.
