When I booked SEA-ORD-YYZ with UA a couple of years ago, UA told me to bring my passport. Is that because Canada was my destination? I'm a U.S. citizen. I knew that I didn't need a passport if I drove across the border, but thought that airlines required a higher level of proof for some reason.
