Hold on to your credit card without a chip. My (Belgian) bank has recently activated a "verified by Visa" feature on all cards. To use our Chip+PIN card online we now need to use a card reader, and key some numbers back and forth to get it accepted. The new system is more secure for the merchants, banks and card company (stolen card numbers are useless with this system). Trouble is that at least on some websites it just doesn't work. Now I'm afraid my credit card just lost a lot of it's usefulness for international online payments.
