Booking a round trip to SE Asia on LH/LX/TG from the UK isn't too far off that now. SQ are just playing catch up, albeit in one huge increase.
e.g
current LH YQ to SIN roundtrip €280, SQ is only $230. TG to BKK is already $470, has been since June.
