That's what I'm hoping. However, that is not how the same scenario would be handled on CO, which gives me pause. On CO, one is only credited the miles from origin to destination on direct flights, without any mileage credit for each individual segment making up that direct flight. e.g., if flying LAX-EWR-GLA on CO 16, you will only be credited the mileage for LAX-GLA nonstop, despite having stopped in EWR.
