I ticketed a 60K award Envoy ticket LAX-MAD on July 5 for late Jan 09 travel. The last leg PHL-LAX was in coach. Today, I see that a seat opened up to F. I called and the agent wants $150 change fee to get the FC seat. I declined. Is the agent correct or should I call back? They stated it was because of the changes in fees effective 8/6. I called the internet support line.

Not a big deal but it would have been nice to sit up front on the last leg. As least, my wife will be up front as the agent split the ticket and got her the last F seat in late July with no change fees .
