I've flown this flight in the past a few times and never paid a very high fare, in fact it was always the cheapest option the few times I took it right after the merger. It is a unique flight, they have to have a perimeter rule exception to run it as its the only DCA-LAS around. Do they give up their exception to someone else now that its axes?

The LAS hub elimination probably played a lot into this.
