Done it at HKG. No issue at all, she documented the PNR without my asking, everything was smooth. Took about 5 minutes.
I also thought of asking whether it could be done at the Airport Express check-in, but since that would cost just as much money and I was going to the airport two days later anyway, I never followed up on it.
