I'm doing a little research for a potential trip, SFO-NRT in mid-November. I'm getting Continental: 60K miles + $38.50; American: 50K miles + $48; Delta: 60K miles + 119. Why does Delta cost so much more? I think that the result for Delta and Continental may even be the same flight, on their partner Northwest. The breakdown of taxes/fees is nebulous and vague (international fees: varies) so I'm not sure where the discrepancy is.
