For watches, I found way better deals in Tokyo than HK. If you're not familiar, try reading up on an issue of WatchBeat (which half the magazine is an advertisement for tons of watch stores) or head into Sakuraya Watch kan in Shinjuku (http://www.sakuraya.co.jp/sshop/shi_wach.html) to ponder in. No haggling required and you'd have to be a pro in HK to negotiate many of the same prices.
Have you tried it? I would consider 10K USD of LV crap in HK in a single sitting to be, by HK standards, small ticket. When I mean bulk, I mean nouveau riche Chinese mainland or bored tycoon tai tai/mistress bulk. On the other hand, even 10K is probably a number that can be made "flexible" if you threaten to walk after loading up on the goods. We're talking HK after all.

As for watches, I don't know anything about watches, so I defer to your knowledge.
