Here comes my nationalistic pride through - on what do you base that assumption - I have always felt safe on SK flights - and not have had the feeling that SK would short change on security = maintenance

They removed the planes after a few narro escapes rather than to await for a real disaster to happen - pretty smart move IMHO - at least from the view as a pax.

The problems that SK encounterd were fairly similar to those of OS - thus the assumption that the design was at fault seems to be more likely.
