Since the Northeast Regional product was relaunched, Amtrak has been trying to make the experience more consistent, and that includes having a refurbished series of Business Class with 2-2 seating on most trains. But where they deviate, it's usually in the passengers' favor (such as with 2-1 club seating in Business or a Business car in Coach). So, this does seem curious to me.
It was train 138 on 5 August.
I'm sorry to say that I did not write down the car number.

I'm also still curious to know how to get the free beverage. Do I get some kind of voucher or will a ticket stub suffice?
