The last couple of AA connection flights I've taken, I've noticed I'm earning less miles.
For instance, IND-ORD I earned 177 flight miles + 500 MVPG bonus = 677 total miles, and 500 EQM's; previously I would have earned 177 flight miles + 323 (500 min) + 500 MVPG bonus = 1000 total miles, 500 EQM's. At least EQM's haven't decreased.
Is this a new change, or is this a mistake? On NWA, I'm still earning 500 min miles + 500 MVPG bonus.

500 miles, or actual flight miles, whichever is greater*
25% bonus for purchased Business Class; 50% bonus for purchased First Class.
* 500 mile minimum applies where actual flight miles plus class of service bonus is less than 500 miles; Mileage is not earned for international tickets flown in O class of service.
