LH no longer accepts IATA fares

One option would be to get a good TA who assembles the PNR and tickets the MAA-FRA-(USGateway) segments separately and uses a *A N American airpass for the US legs. Sadly I only know of one LH office (ticketteam MUC) who would have the competence or rather understanding on how to accomplish that.
