I'd rather not complain. I think what your MAA tried to say is that the LH fares from MAA to FLL are not valid for travel on US. This has nothting to do with interlining, but something with the marketing contracts between the airlines. I looked up a few of the published LH fares and they are all only allowing for UA and AC for segments within North America.
No no, not complaining at all.
Just that I was shown an itinerary with LH flight numbers, operated on US metal, when I tried MAA-FLL. Then when I tried to book it online, it errored out saying "these cant be booked online". And the LH call center says "these cant be booked at all"
So they probably need to purge those LH flight codes from their booking engine?
