Perhaps I am wrong, but I understand that flights under 2 hours no longer get a cleaning crew aboard and its left up to the FAs to Clean the Cabin.

Now what happens if there is a FA Crew Change is it the responsibilty of the arriving crew or the departure crew. And what if either of them has a tight crew change connection.

Or are they only there primary for our safety.

Even RyanAir at 2 cents a seat manage a cleaning crew on every flight I have taken with them.
