Is chasing points the standard?
In my early months at Marriott I was really pleased at the benefits from my gold status and the points from my Marriott CC. So I upgraded the CC, booked a number of stays (15 nights in total) in Moscow, Hong Kong, Boston and Portland, that required my convincing my husband that it was worth it and forged ahead. Now reality has checked in and I have found two stays missing from my account and trying to book another stay recently left me on the phone for 20 minutes with no answer. So lots of time chasing these points or any service may be the downfall. I have to say I am surprised my threshold is already breached but for regulars is chasing points the standard?
